Design Notes
- (2021-11-xx) TDK commercial modules new reference :
- Yves + Michel
- New reference TDK GSP10-1000-3P400 [1kA;10V] 2U replacing old one [3U]
- This new reference is the standard one from 2021.
- It requires a new rack layout since the modules are 2U height (instead of 3U).
- These modules are much better regarding the current sharing when operating in parallel (no need of extra cern card).
- The new reference shows almost same voltage bandwidth than old ones (150 Hz); some tests (using fresco) indicates a high precision current source (20mA of error over 2 kA) with 120 Hz of bandwidth in current.
- Discussion with TDK indicates that <50V output module can handle up to 800V output common mode voltage.
