Rad / Elec Pre-Serie Power Converters created to validate the work (quality, process, test) of the external companies before proceeding with the full series. Pre-series = Series most of the time, or with very few differences, considered as negligeable. The pre-series are tested at CERN using generic templates which will be applied to series.   • (2017-12-19) HL-LHC Meeting:
    • Yves + Jean Paul + Miguel + Samer + Hugues + Vicente: HL-LHC2kA meeting.
      • During this meeting (2kA oriented), the case of one R2E-HL-LHC60A with a crowbar handling up to [4; 5] kA pk was discussed. indico.
      • It was decided that since this converter was only used some hours per year, the DCCTs would be placed inside the converter, not controlling purely the magnet load, to protect them from high peak current and to avoid over design.
